Meet Henry Korsten

In 2021 Henry joined the firm's Property, Conveyancing and Litigation Practice. Henry is an attorney with the right of appearance in the High Court and is also admitted as a Conveyancer.

Henry specialises in Commercial Law, Commercial Litigation and Property Law.

Henry obtained his BA, LLB and Master’s degree in Labour Law from the University of Stellenbosch and also lectured Public Interest Law at the Law Department of the University before he embarked on his career in private practice. He has also obtained an advanced certificate in Business Rescue from UNISA.

Before his move to Gauteng, Henry assisted the City of Cape Town Metropolitan Municipality, Oostenberg sub-structure with the development and implementation of their Debt Management and Credit Control systems. Also, he assisted with the property management systems focused on the Development and Implementation of Low-Cost Housing Projects from the inception until “handing over of the keys”.

As a conveyancer, Henry is involved with normal residential transfers, commercial property transactions and new property developments. In the past, he also served on the panels of all 4 the major financial banks, for Residential and Commercial Bond registrations, and bond cancellations.

Over the past 20 years, Henry has assisted commercial clients in the drafting, vetting and negotiating of agreements and the drafting of policies and procedures for managing commercial contracts.
