Courtney is a Senior Associate in the firm’s Employment Practice. He joined the firm in 2019 and was appointed as a Senior Associate in March 2022.

Courtney obtained his LLB through the University of the Free State in 2016 and his LLM degree at Stellenbosch University in 2017.

Courtney has been involved in a variety of matters including unfair dismissal disputes, unfair labour practice disputes and contractual claims. He is particularly interested and regularly involved in collective bargaining and collective employment law disputes including strikes and organisational rights disputes. Courtney strives to provide his clients with the highest quality of work in the most efficient manner possible.
